From the studio, you reach directly the small garden and the terrace with the stunning view over Locarno, the beautiful lake and the impressive mountains.
The surroundings are extremely beautiful. Every season has ist own character. Enjoy the calm and the beauty of the mountains, the lake or simply the amazuing view you will have from the terrace.
Locarno is located in one of the warmest regions of Switzerland and it is considered as the most northern city with a mediterranean climate. The average temperature is 11.5 C, whereas the average temperature in Switzerland is 7 to 9 C. Thus, you will find many southern plants like palms or lemon trees in Locarno. You will find palms even in the garden of "Casa Sogno mio". Because of this amazing climate Locarno is popular among tourists. Close to the city of Locarno you will even find rice growing.

by walking
Approx. 5 minutes by walking (partially a stairway) from the "old town" respectively approx. 20 minutes walking distance to the main railway station of Locarno. Important: the access to the house is by stairs only. It is not directly accessible by car.

by public transport
There is a bus Stop ("Villa India") directly above the house. From the railway station it takes approx. 10 minutes by bus (Number 2). During daytime there is one bus per hour.

by car
A few minutes by car from the Exit "Locarno" (after the tunnel "Mappo-Morettiono"). The studio has no own parking space. However, there is public parking along the street just above the house (CHF 3.00 per day).
